At Glevering Learning Support, I offer a range of services to support children with dyslexia and other learning differences. Whether you're just beginning to explore how best to help your child or you're looking for formal assessment and guidance, I provide a personalised and compassionate approach for every learner.

Full Diagnostic Assessment for Dyslexia

A comprehensive assessment to understand your child’s learning profile, following SASC (SpLD Assessment Standards Committee) guidelines.

·       Background information gathered from both family and school

  • Around three hours of face-to-face assessment using a wide range of tests

  • Conducted at Glevering Learning Support or at home/school

  • Detailed written report including diagnosis (if appropriate), referrals, and tailored recommendations

  • Online or face-to-face consultation included to explain the results and next steps

  • Up-to-date current assessment material used for ages 5 years to 89 years old.


Assessment for Examination Access Arrangements

For learners who may require support in exams, such as extra time or a scribe, in line with JCQ regulations.

  • Assessment takes around two hours and includes a written report

  • Uses the most suitable, up-to-date, nationally standardised tests

  • Focused on identifying specific needs and normal ways of working

  • This can be suitable for GCSE and beyond, but contact with your school’s SENCO would be required (liaising with the school SENCO is required)

  • Recommendations discussed with the SENCO to support implementation


Assessment for Examination Access Arrangements
