My journey into learning support began during my Early Childhood Studies degree, where I focused my dissertation on dyslexia. Since qualifying as a teacher in 2005 with a PGCE specialising in Mathematics, I’ve worked with learners from Reception to Year 8, including preparing older pupils for Common Entrance 13+ exams. I’ve always found it especially rewarding to support children who find learning more challenging and pride myself on creating a warm, inclusive environment where they can build confidence.
I hold a Level 5 qualification in Teaching Learners with SpLD and a Level 7 Diploma in Assessing for SpLD (Dyslexia), along with an active Assessment Practising Certificate (PATOSS). Over the years, I’ve supported learners with a wide range of neurodiversities including dyslexia, DCD, ADHD and ASD.
Through Glevering Learning Support, I offer assessments, consultations, and practical guidance for both families and schools. I work closely with parents, SENCOs, and external agencies to ensure that each child gets the support they need. Helping young people understand their learning profile and feel empowered in their education is at the heart of everything I do.
“I am really pleased we decided to get an assessment for ***. The report is so helpful and supportive. The recommendations are really helpful, and it has really opened up my eyes on how I can support *** and understand the struggles she is facing! I loved your approach and I will recommend you to anyone!”
